ABOUT NEXTGEN ACADEMY

Built By Two Friends Who Love Helping Kids Grow

NextGen Academy STEM Camp is a small, theory-based summer program for grades 5–6, created by Panashe Madziyire and Austin Smith to make science, engineering, and technology concepts feel exciting, approachable, and fun.

Our mission is simple: give kids four days of engaging STEM theory and discovery in a safe, small-group setting — led by directors who genuinely care about every camper's growth, confidence, and fun.

Co-Founders & Camp Directors

Both directors are MinistrySafe-certified, meaning they've completed training focused specifically on child safety and abuse prevention.

Hosted At Grace Church

📍

8440 Grace St, Frisco, TX 75034

NextGen Academy STEM Camp meets in a single dedicated room at Grace Church, which has already approved our use of the space for this camp. Campers stay in this assigned room throughout the day, stepping out only for bathroom breaks or with a staff member.

A printed camper rules sheet — covering room boundaries, quiet time during lessons, and general safety expectations — is provided to every family and was reviewed as part of the church's room-use approval.

Safety First

🛡️ MinistrySafe Certified Staff

Both co-founders have completed MinistrySafe training, a certification focused on child safety and abuse-awareness best practices for youth programs.

👥 Small Group Size

Enrollment is capped at 20 campers so directors can give every child real attention throughout the four days.

🏫 One Assigned Room

Campers remain in a single, approved room for the full camp day, with clear expectations around movement and quiet time.

📋 Clear Camper Rules

Every camper and parent reviews a kid-friendly rules sheet covering behavior, safety, and emergency procedures before camp begins.
